I BELIEVE IN MN2015 FOR ME

thinking about this makes me happy


this is a personal blog (yes all of the others are too, but this one is on a professional level)

it's been a little longer than a year since and AMAZING opportunity has been introduced to me.
the opportunity to go to minnesota and practice my master's degree, clinical counseling and psicosocial intervention in mental health!!! HOW COOL IS THIS!!??

however, i'm still watting on a final resolution, (please keep your fringers crossed for me)

i really love the idea of living abroad for two years! even the weather is different from my home country.

my imaginations runs wild and free everytime i think about the endless adventures i will have. and all the little new details that will be part of my life there, from going to the farmers market, and supermarket, to peacking a favorite spot to hang out, to walk around... the smells, the colors!! ALL OF IT!!! and to share it with my friends and family here in Guate.

THE VISITS i might have! 

i believe the resolution will be positive and that they wont need further evidence.

i belive by the end of september i will be there!!

Diary of my first year as an Intern at Substance Church: Chapter 1.

First Impressions Before sharing how my first month as an intern is going, I would like to share a brief background on what lead me to apply for my church’s internship program. 2019 ended on a bad note, made me realize how unhealthy I was doing relationships by focusing my energy and attention around one friend, a friend who used to say I was family to her small family, unfortunately when it came a time to actually prove I was family I was met with their back to me.  Still surrendering to God the negative thoughts that come as a result form that, I think I’ve come a long way but still working on self confidence when it comes to letting people in on intimate levels. This experience has allowed me to position my heart in full surrendering to God, 100% allowing him to be the only one that satisfies every corner of my been. In the end, He is the only one that can, so now I needed to work on my behaviors to match my knowledge, this is where the Internship Program comes into...

La manera misteriosa en la que Dios trabaja a veces

Jesús murió por nosotros para darnos libertad.  Pero, realmente somos libres? Incluso los egipcios cuando estaban en el desierto estaban tan acostumbrados a ser esclavos que algunos comenzaron a pedir volver a Egipto (éxodo 14:12). No entendían el proceso por el que Dios los estaba llevando. Sin embargo, a pesar de que ellos estaban molestos Dios los seguía amando tal y como eran y en donde se encontraban; pero Dios también los amaba tanto que no podía dejarlos conformarse a una vida de esclavitud. Lo mismo sucede con nosotros hoy en día. Esta semana Dios uso una situación sumamente extraña para trabajar algo en mi. O más bien, terminar de sellar algo en mi. ¿Cuantas veces hemos estado tan acostumbrados a vivir de cierta manera, que sin darnos cuenta nos hemos conformado a ese estilo de vida? Puede ser aferrarnos a un sentimiento, un pensamiento, una actitud hacia algo en específico o hacia la vida en general, etc. Algo que se ha vuelto tan natural en nosotros, pero que no nos deja...

Procesos... Capitulo 1 (pero no el inicio)

El titulo es solo un título, este no ha sido el primero, y espero que tampoco, el último proceso por el que he pasado.  Los últimos años había entregado mi corazón a hombres con manos muy pequeñas; pensaba que debía de ser menos yo para cazar en su vida, cuando realidad nunca debí darlo todo por alguien que no tenia las manos suficientemente grandes como cargar mi corona.   En una ocasión tuve un sueño, esta imagen de #SpeakLife me lo recordó y me confirmo el porqué pase todo el dolor innecesario que estuve pasando en los últimos dos años. Soñé que estabamos tratando de poner una piza de madera en donde parecía que cabia...  La desobediencia a lo que Dios me estaba diciendo, y adelantando lo que pasaría con esta persona si continuabamos insistiendo en cazar dicha pieza, me llevo a dos larguisimos años de perdonar y volver a abrir mi corazón a la misma persona, 3 veces (quizas 4, no recuerdo) no ha sido fácil perdonarme a mi y perdonarlo a él; pues "estando con él" (entre ...
