I BELIEVE IN MN2015 FOR ME

thinking about this makes me happy

this is a personal blog (yes all of the others are too, but this one is on a professional level)

it's been a little longer than a year since and AMAZING opportunity has been introduced to me.

the opportunity to go to minnesota and practice my master's degree, clinical counseling and psicosocial intervention in mental health!!! HOW COOL IS THIS!!??

however, i'm still watting on a final resolution, (please keep your fringers crossed for me)

i really love the idea of living abroad for two years! even the weather is different from my home country.

my imaginations runs wild and free everytime i think about the endless adventures i will have. and all the little new details that will be part of my life there, from going to the farmers market, and supermarket, to peacking a favorite spot to hang out, to walk around... the smells, the colors!! ALL OF IT!!! and to share it with my friends and family here in Guate.

THE VISITS i might have!

i believe the resolution will be positive and that they wont need further evidence.

i belive by the end of september i will be there!!

En dónde nos olvidamos de ser gentiles?

Este fin de semana no fue como lo esperaba, o más bien, no terminó como lo esperaba, Sin embargo, me hizo ver las cosas desde otra perspectiva. El dia de ayer por la noche pasó algo que, probablemente, para muchos fue insignificante pero para mi fue algo de mayor peso. April as an Intern

A whole new world I moved to Minnesota 4 years 3 months and 15 days ago. Over the past few years I’ve embraced that one of my super powers is Adaptation. My resiliency to cope with difficult times comes in handy as well, so when I moved to a new culture a lot of things changed, I had a lot of shifts in the perspectives of my core beliefs, one of them is how I view my birthday month. It has also been 4+ years since I’ve celebrated my birthday face to face with any blood family, I’ve only celebrated it with my family by choice (until 2020 and the adventures of a year with COVID19). So celebrating it with my family over face time has been the norm and they know how to love me well form a distance, I would like to think I do the same. Celebrating here is different. Bienvenidos nuevamente a aquellos que seguian mi blog del intercambio. Por si se preguntan cómo es mi vida ahora: son 4 años después y aun sigo pensando que fue de las mejores experiencias que he vivido y con gusto lo volveria ha hacer.
